The literacy team has been working with classroom teachers and students creating a rich literate environment throughout our school community. We are seeing such smart readers everywhere in our school. As you pass classrooms, you will see teachers reading aloud, students reading, and teachers and students deep in conversation about children's literature.
All students are takings books home to read at night and on the weekends. Fairview students are really starting to "live like readers". We will continue to grow as readers this year.
